Inspired by the 1790s sewing rollup we recently acquired for our object collection, these sewing rollups have been imagined and produced by the Tatter team’s own hands! Offered in blue or cream colorways, both feature embroidery by artist Chika Cuy and are a limited edition of 30 total. These handmade kits also include:

• 2 vintage buttons, stitched to the rollup
• a sharps holder, made of blue or cream-colored felted fabric
• a spool of blue silk thread by Soie Et, tied to the rollup with ribbon
• gold Merchant & Mills scissors, held in a sheath made of 11.11 blue or ecru denim and tied down with ribbon
• a bobbin of white thread, stored in a pocket made of the exterior linen fabric, featuring its raw selvedge
