These gorgeous journals are the perfect size to take with you everywhere. Jot down to do lists, sketch in the park, or keep as a diary. These journals, which lay flat due to their exposed spine stitching, will be your most convenient new companion, and your most beautiful!

This notebook is meant to be loved and used! When we have beautiful things made by hand, we are more likely to use them in a meaningful way. Featuring hand-torn soft white, unlined paper that is ideal for drawing and writing with pen or pencil.  The exposed spine stitching allows the book to lay flat when it is open.

Each journal is covered with organic cotton/hemp fabric that is plant-dyed in small batches, so there is variation within each color.Every journal features a unique botanical design, and while these cannot be selected beforehand, we promise the surprise is well worth it!

ABOUT Kata Golda
The Kata Golda studio, owned and run by Allison Kaplan, is nestled snugly in the small, mossy seaside town of Port Townsend, Washington. Much of the inspiration for her work comes from the subtle details in the natural world, where nothing is straight and nothing is perfect. Allison creates slowly and with intention and tries to use up every little scrap of fabric. The things she make take time. Allison find immense joy in sharing her love of hand work with others through free sewing tutorials, DIY kits, and carefully curated bundles of plant-dyed fabrics. Taking the time to slow down and make something with your hands using quality materials is such a gift, and she feel so lucky to do this work.
