Blue Amulet Kit by Kata Golda

Make your own one-of-a-kind lucky charms to wear or to hang as a decoration to protect and inspire. Embrace your creativity and get inspired by the gorgeous hand-dyed indigo linen. Make matching ones for yourself and a friend, protect yourself and your home, or gift this kit to a crafty family member!

Since each charm is unique, your amulet will choose you and be a lovely surprise!  Hang one from a wall, from your rear-view mirror, over your bed, or in a shrine. They make a very special gift. Handmade with love.

Make your own gorgeous blue amulets made from indigo dyed linen. Kits include materials to make make two 2x2” stitched and embellishedamulets (one necklace and one pin). This process is a balance of creative (shape and decoration) and mechanical/technical (assembly). The technical aspects can be very creative as there are so many ways to finish each piece! Put your touch on each piece, and hold them close as treasured objects.

ABOUT Kata Golda
The Kata Golda studio, owned and run by Allison Kaplan, is nestled snugly in the small, mossy seaside town of Port Townsend, Washington. Much of the inspiration for her work comes from the subtle details in the natural world, where nothing is straight and nothing is perfect. Allison creates slowly and with intention and tries to use up every little scrap of fabric. The things she make take time. Allison find immense joy in sharing her love of hand work with others through free sewing tutorials, DIY kits, and carefully curated bundles of plant-dyed fabrics. Taking the time to slow down and make something with your hands using quality materials is such a gift, and she feel so lucky to do this work.
