Sacred Stitched Talisman Kit by Aitor Saraiba

Aitor teaches that textile and devotion have always been closely intertwined. How many of us find ourselves wholly devoted to our quilting practice, or to our hand stitching? This kit allows us to explore this devotion, while engaging with the long practiced art of Escapularios (fabric talismans made throughout Europe to protect their wearer).

Discover the art of free-form embroidery and embellishment in this immersive kit designed with artist Aitor Saraiba. Makers will create their own textile “escapulario” or talisman, a piece designed to be personal and expressive, regardless of your background!
