Step into the timeless art of broom making in this 2.5-hour workshop, where we will unlock the secrets to crafting beautiful and truly useful hand brooms. Delve into the rich heritage of this craft as you learn to size and select broom corn, and talk about the journey of cultivating and preparing your own materials. Our expert instructor will guide you through the ins and outs of weaving various styles of hand brooms, transforming simple fibers into objects of both beauty and utility. Students will walk away with at least one handcrafted turkey wing broom. No prior experience is necessary, only some manual dexterity and a beginner's mind.
