A beautiful bundle of recycled Kantha quilt remnants.
These bundles are created from offcuts left over from production in Skippy Cotton's studio in India. These pieces are beautiful for quilting, patchwork, clothing alterations or any creative project.
Kantha is one of the oldest and most traditional forms of embroidery originating in India, and is still ritually practiced today by millions of South Asian women. The word “Kantha” defined means ‘making whole again that which was once fragmented or broken.’Kantha quilts are known for almost always using the traditional ‘running stitch’, layering soft fabrics together to form a quilt.
