Sashiko Summer Slip Ons

Simple Sashiko embroidery pairs beautifully with these entirely hand-stitched and customizable slip on house shoes. Lightweight yet sturdy, the slip ons are ideal for the warmer months. The construction process is calming and meditative — you’ll not only want to make a set for yourself but for loved ones as well.

This two session class will include a brief overview of the history of Sashiko embroidery and will provide step-by-step instructions for creating fully lined, hand sewn slip ons. A PDF tutorial document with alternative sewing methods and Sashiko pattern options will also be provided.
